Dyaus, also known as Dyaus Pita or Sky Father, is a divine figure associated with the sky and heavens in the Rigveda. He is considered one of the primordial deities and is often addressed as the father of gods and humans. Dyaus represents the vast expanse of the sky, the celestial realm, and the source of life-giving light. He is sometimes invoked along with Prithvi, the Earth Mother, as the eternal parents of the cosmos.
