Devanagari: सत्यं ब्रूयात् प्रियं ब्रूयान्न ब्रूयात् सत्यमप्रियम्। प्रियं च नानृतं ब्रूयादेषा धर्मस्य संगतिः॥
Translation: Speak the truth, speak what is pleasing, do not speak the truth that is unpleasant, Do not speak the pleasing untruth, this is the path of righteousness.
