- The multipurpose worker (MPW) will assist the patient in understanding the doctor’s instructions and ensuring they have the necessary prescriptions.
- If laboratory tests are prescribed, the MPW will guide the patient to the sample collection area and ensure proper labeling and processing of the samples.
- The MPW will dispense the prescribed medications from the clinic’s pharmacy and provide instructions on their usage.
